Player stuck on a 40-man roster

Hey all

I think i saw this happen in an older version of OOTP and i can't remember what needed to be done but i've got a guy stuck on one teams secondary roster but plays for another organization. I've tried to delete him, retire him etc but he still shows on the previous teams org.

Any help is appreciated

thanks!

Make sure you're in Commissioner Mode, then edit the guy to the other team. Once you have, release him from the first team by dragging him down to the bottom of the screen in Organization Overview. It's the only way I've been able to get this corrected.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately that didn't work. The guy has already been playing for the other team's AA squad (Texas) but was appearing on Tampa's 40-man even tho he never was with them.

I solved it but was kind of a pain, with these steps:

1. Released the player from Texas' org

2. Found the player in the Free Agent list and manually edited him to be on Tampa's AAA team

3. Retired the player which finally removed him from Tampa's org

4. Went to the retired players list, found him and unretired him, putting him back onto the Free Agent list

5. Manually edited him to put him back on Texas' AA team, stats still intact

problem solved!
