Approval and Off Season
Hey,
I'm still fairly new, so if there's a way to do thing things already, I'd appreciate a tip. 1. As GM I'd like to be able to let the manager suggest roster changes, signings, and trades, but me have final approval. I like getting recommendations from the scouting director during drafts. I'd like the same thing for other parts of the game. 2. I'd like to have an easy way to start at the beginning of the MLB off season (like starting at the end of the 2012 season in ootp 14 instead of the beginning of the 2013 season) so that I could see how the season might progress with different off season moves. |

2. I'm pretty sure you could achieve this by setting up templates, then applying those templates to a new game at a set date. That is a bit complicated though. |

Oh god this feature. Or, "Allow AI to set up pitchers/hitters only in minor league system." I'm usually fine with how the AI promotes hitters up/down and decides on playing time, as long as I force start certain players to certain positions. I get annoyed with how it handles SP/RP, and even if I tell it to force player X to SP, and player X is in AA, it might bring up a 7th starter on the AA roster anyways, even though the roster had the necessary 6 SPs (All my minor league teams run 6 man rotations).
