My Team in Competing in Two Divisional Playoff Series?
First of guys, first time poster, but long time reader!
OK. I've successfully rebuilt the Pirates into a perennial contender. But in my 2018 season, after finishing second to the Reds in the NL Central and beating the Nats in the wildcard game, my Pirates are now competing in both divisional series. One vs. the Braves and the other vs. the Giants -- while there is no evidence of the Reds in the playoffs. Anyone encounter this previously and/or know how to handle? Thanks in advance! |

Was there a tie for one of the Wild Cards, by any chance?

Did you ever edit the Playoff format and perhaps accidently put the wrong team in the wrong slot? I've done that on multiple occasions, tho it was usually in the wrong league.
That is, I've put the NL 5th place team in the AL Wild Card slot, instead of the AL 5th place team. Something to that effect. |

No tie for wildcard and I didn't edit the playoff match-ups. It all happened automatically at the end of the season.
Perhaps the OOTP gods wanted to give the Pirates better odds of making the WS?!
