No More Licenses Available For This Serial Number?
I loaded my validly-licensed OOTP onto a second machine, since my first machine went tits up and was sent back to the factory for resurrection, I tried to input the serial number, and got this in response:
I went to support.ootpdevelopments.com, did a search on activation issues and found that the game can be activated on two machines. This is the second machine, so ... ? Does anyone recognize this and know of a way around it? |

I will add that I had reloaded my OOTP on my first machine after I had to restore that machine to original factory settings. Does anyone know whether that counts as a second machine? It shouldn't, should it?

Yes, that does cause an activation to be used. Submit a support ticket and I'll reset your license for you.

PM Andreas Raht and ask him to reset your license.
It's entirely possible that the original use of OOTP was not cleared when you restore the computer. Do you remember unlicensing? Resetting is the easiest route. Edit Ah, for an old timer you are fast.

Please do it through support instead. Taking care of license issues is one of my jobs. Andreas needs to focus more on programming and his many other tasks, not resetting licenses.

Probably because I'm a young old timer.By the way, I didn't mean to sound harsh when I said to not bother Andreas with this. I did appreciate you offering help for this person. I just wanted to make sure people know that this is something we can take care of in support and usually pretty quickly too.

Just in case you didn't check your ticket yet, I need (only) one of the following: the order ID, serial number or email used to order the game. Once you add this to your ticket, I can reset your license for you.
