Split stats

I know that split stats for the current season are readily available in the player page. For example, I can view Cliff Lee's split stats in the current season to see what his stats were during day games, and during night games.

What I am planning on doing, is to create a fictional league, with Champions League between the best teams in different countries and leagues. I am planning on adding these game into the schedule as day games, while all normal league games will be night games. Therefore, I will be able to somewhat separate the stats between Champions League games and league games.

Thanks for any help I could get regarding this. If you have any suggestions on how I could better approach this idea, that would be appreciated, as well.

Seeing that no one has replied, I re-read my original post. Seems like I left something out.

Is it possible for split stats to be kept from past seasons or a player's entire career?

League Menu > League Setup > Player & Picture Options then on the left hand side, there is the option to keep career splits, fielding percentage and postseason stats.

I notice that is only L/R splits. Does that include other splits such as day/night, vs a specific team, grass/turf, etc?

That is what I thought. Do you have an idea as to how I could get my idea to work?
