I Just want to be a GM

So I wanted to start by saying how much I love the game and think it gets better with each passing build.

I have not done a single post since I pre-order the game on day 1 because I wanted my suggestion to come at a time when I though the game was far enough along.

I have been playing Hockey sims since GM manager on PC almost 20 years ago and most recently EHM, GM Hockey.

My one dream though since day one is to be a GM. That's It!

The areas I want to concentrate should surround around 4 things.

1/ Roster movement
I just want to chose my 23 man roster and let coaches decide who plays.
If injury's come up I will call a player up. The coaching staff will choose who dresses, sits, starts in goal, get what ice time based on coaching attributes, but not play the same lines and players every game.

2/ Trading
This engine feel like it should be the most important part of a GM sim. I want the AI to not make a trade cause players are equal. I want AI to take into consideration depth chart, place in standings and players in the system. I should not be able if I'm Buffalo to trade Miller to Montreal to back up Price cause its a fair trade. Also make leading up to the deadline change the value of players as less position players get moved.

3/ Salary negotiations and Free Agents
The game does a good job of going back and forth with the players and making you work for a contract, but there is still tons of questionable signing requests. AHL players asking for 6 years 2mil

4/ Drafting
No complaints here, I really enjoy the drafting system. maybe a few more duds and diamonds here and there.

So this is not a rant. I just want to see the game get to the point where I only manage the GM duties and let the AI do the rest.

It's good we have FHM cause NO real professional hockey team would ever propose you (or me) to be a GM.
