And that doesn't happen in my leagues, so it isn't a fundamental game problem. There may be some combination of financial and AI logic that creates your issue.

Please teach me how to fix the finances because I am all ears and desperately would like to do this.

I realize their is no real "knowledge" here, just some logic and common sense.

Basically the problem here is with contract logic as it pertains to MP with absolutely no AI contracts being sent out. Please tell me that you play MP, since you have been here arguing that there is no issue with any of this. Last edited by dubb93; 12-12-2013 at 05:18 PM. |

Link me your MP league where this doesn't happen. I'm not here to prove an issue exists, so there isn't any point in denying it. I'm simply here to fix the issue in our league so we can get rid of it. If you have an MP league where this doesn't happen, ever, link it to me so I can look at the settings and house rules. Otherwise you aren't adding anything to this conversation. It has been established that aggressive AI in SP is hiding the silly free agent logic. This most likely isn't being seen in SP, the bad logic is still there, but the AI is hiding it by offering mass amounts of contracts that don't happen in MP.

And if you don't want public comments, then don't post on a public message board.

Sure, I know what you'll say, it's a isolated incident. Thing is, it's not. It's a common issue in ALL MP leagues. Some don't think about it, some don't care, but it's there, and I would imagine for this game to be as good as it can be, it would be smart to bring it to the developers attention so they can hopefully fix it. Dubb asked you to provide a link to the MP game where this doesn't happen. Your response is it's not on you to prove anything? Why are you even commenting then? I can see why this board gets a bad reputation....wow |

I'll try to post a link to this thread in the beta forum a little later to see if anyone has some ideas or if the MP players on the beta team have the same issues. As for the board, yeah there are a few folks who often go out of their way to be jerks on here. I don't know why that is, it's a real shame. Still there are actually far, far more nice, friendly, helpful folks around here than jerks. You can always add some of the jerks to your ignore list so that they won't bother you so much or just try to ignore them the best you can. Last edited by Lukas Berger; 12-13-2013 at 05:27 PM. |

Nice. Regardless, the burden of proof remains on the complainer. Convince the powers that be that it's an actual game issue and it will get fixed. Throw a fit and good luck.

Or maybe I should have said "Keep throwing fits."

It's always better without people like you in it.

While I did post in the beta thread about this, and do think this is worth checking into, the fact is there hasn't actually been any proof presented in this thread. The post with the link to the player in it doesn't really provide any proof since it only shows what he signed for, not what all his offers were. We do have a lot of online players on the beta team and no one's even brought this up as a potential issue. Which may or may not mean something. It may be an indication that the problem is in fact with the settings of the specific leagues you guys play in. I don't know, I simply mention that for what it's worth. Even if this is something that is in fact an issue, I suspect there will need to be some more concrete evidence provided before any changes are made. Unless you guys can find a way to provide more conclusive info, nothing's likely to happen with this. Markus usually needs to see some hard data before he makes major changes, which is as it should be. Last edited by Lukas Berger; 12-14-2013 at 01:23 AM. |
