Ehm
I WILL PATIENTLY wait for fhm toget up to speed but in the meantime, i am going to try EHM07 with updated rosters. I just think that game is so much more fun with all that it has to offer at the moment...and I am wondering if anyone is currently playing it? Any tips on getting the game as current as possible? I think the only setback in playing it is the league setup and playoff format..which I am fine with.

Can this game still be downloaded somewhere or no? If so where is the best place?? I've never even tried it before, wouldn't mind looking at it while I wait for the editors to get turned on in FHM

A few months ago I seen a free version. Don't know what's different between that version and a newer version.

There's also a patch which allows you to play with any start date (rather than being stuck with the default 2006/07 start date): Custom Start Date Patch v1.5 (With Retro Launcher) ? EHM The Blue Line A new 2013/14 roster update should be available before Christmas.

Yes, I've been playing the heck out of this game over the last week! I bought 05, and may be tempted to buy 07. Not the biggest hockey fan, but love the challenge that a game like this brings. And I need a bit of a break from Football Manager, and OOTP Baseball. Bought FHM when it was first available, and am still playing it off and on as well.
Not sure if I'm ready to plop 34.99 down for EHM07, but maybe I'll treat myself for Christmas. I have until next June to play the trial version. lol |

The EHM free trial is for six months. That is, six months of in-game time, not six months actual time.

if you can update the rosters (which you can) EHM07 is well worth 34.99 still. It's a very good hockey sim.

Wow wow wow. I just got the game holy smokes. Hockey isnt my favorite sport by compared to the other american sports BUT I definitely will be playing ehm over any other text sim or video game period. This game is what I have been looking for..well ever. Anyone with any realistic guesses on how long it would take for franchise hockey manager to catch up? Specifically with adding the 2d play by play engine?

Anyone know how to simulate games instantly without having to play through them all? I don't see a simulation button.

IIRC there's also an option on the GM Options screen to set your Head Coach to take control of your games. So if you just want to skip watching the games but not sim through large periods of time, use that option instead.

Does this trial still work? I have included everything on my Win8 system, including CSD Patch, and get this message when I try to do the trial:
Error No restrictions - at least one of the days, executions or hours must be restricted 15 I've done nothing else but installed on my computer, and got the 1.5 patch.

Do a full uninstall of the game and then reinstall. This has fixed the No Restrictions error in the past. When you reinstall, make sure you also install the v3.0.4 patch. When you load EHM always use the Run As Admin option.
