John Wockenfuss has been claimed off waivers by both the Pirates and Angels. The Angels have priority.

Vincent Ramey has signed a minor league contract.

Ron Moran showed some serious heat in his first major league start, but he also had a problematic inning where he gave up 5 runs. The Jays batters did their part and it wasn't until he top of the 10th when Dennis DeBarr gave up a solo shot to Carlton Fisk that the Red Sox nailed down their 6-5 win.

WP - Don Aase (1-1)
LP - Dennis DeBarr (0-1)

And they still lost 9-4 to Cleveland.

Pathetic.

WP - Richard Dotson (1-5)
LP - Dave Stieb (3-3)

Worst record in the AL.
