Storylines

Where/How do i turn them off? I looked in manual and content isn't showing?

Sure it's on the forums somewhere, but cannot find.

TIA

Go to Game, Setup & Options and on the right side of the screen there is Report Options, then Misc. Options. The only option under Misc. Options will be a checkbox to Enable Storylines, and if you uncheck that they'll turn off.

Can someone tell me how to check what the criteria for this storyline appearing is? I've been on a crazy winning streak and record, and I get this?

Astros 1B, Brett Wallace, Trying To Build Team Chemistry

Astros local beat writer, Leonard Simons, interviewed 27 year old, Brett Wallace about his team's recent struggles. "Obviously, the team is slumping right now, we're pressing, pointing fingers at everyone else. We individually have to take responsibility for how we're performing and just be supportive of our teammates. I invited all the guys over to my house for a BBQ to talk about team goals and just be able to ease some of the tension that's been in the clubhouse as of late due to our recent slump."

Wallace's veteran leadership should help bring some team camaraderie to a club that desperately needs it to get back on track.

Names, teams, and positions changed for the heck of it

Storylines are random occurrences. Turn them off.

Not entirely. Most of them have flags that cause them to not occur if the circumstances don't match. However, I know that in version 14, there's some issues with the Minimum Year flags (which stop stories referencing, say, television from appearing before television was invented), so I wouldn't be surprised if there was something messed up here as well.

Andreas doesn't like that.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

So... can someone tell me how to check what the criteria for this particular storyline appearing is? I'm convinced that it doesn't take into account the win-loss record of recent games at all.
