Hey all! I had my fantasy basketball drafts this weekend along with the Series and the NFL, so I won't have an update till later on today. Normallly, I'll actually be ahead of the story, but I was getting all of the new uniforms and logos that Silvam and Justafan did and working on preparing the quickstart (just have to do some filename fixing, and it will be good to go as well!)

I'll try to get two updates today to make up for the missed day, I generally am trying to have one update a day, but missed yesterday. I know from the views that there are plenty of people reading, please feel free to get involved chatting! I'm always willing to post screenshots and the like so you can get to know your state's teams, for example!

Going to go start playing, just wanted to drop a line!

Week 13 Notes: 4 vs Delaware (2-2), 3 at Indiana (2-1)

· 06/29: MI 11, DE 1 – Jim Jeansonne CG, 1 ER, 4 H, 0 BB, 6 K – Steve Krauskopf 2-3, 2 HR, 4 RBI
· 06/30: MI 9, DE 3 – Francisco Ramos 4-4, 2B, BB, 3 RS – Chris Calzadilla 6.0 IP, 3 ER, 6 H, 3 BB, 6 K, W (4-6, 4.39)
· Skipper Ramos now has a 13-game hitting streak to go with his 4-4 day!
· Steve Krauskopf won the Eastern States League Rookie of the Month Award for June! He hit .418 in June with 8 homers and 28 RBI. He also scored 20 runs.
· International amateur free agent signing has just begun. We put in two solid offers to the top two prospects according to our scouting department.
· Rhode Island closer Alex Acosta will miss the next year at least after suffering a torn UCL. He will undergo Tommy John as soon as the swelling subsides.
· 07/01: DE 7, MI 2 – Jimmy Markley (DE) 7.0 IP, 2 ER, 3 H, 3 BB, 9 K – Steve Muller 0.2 IP, 6 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 1 K, L (5-5, 3.86)
· 07/02: DE 6, MI 5 – Adam Pettus (DE) 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI – Brandon Sublet 3-3, HR, RBI, 2 BB, 2 RS
· A highly disappointing split because we should have closed out that final game to win the series, and Muller didn't even get out of the first in game 3.
· 07/03: MI 4, IN 3 – Jose Cuevas 7.0 IP, 2 ER, 6 H, 1 BB, 6 K, W (10-4, 4.38) – Skipper Ramos 4-5, 2B, 2 RS (.382/.439/.481)
· 07/04: MI 10, IN 4 – Steve Krauskopf 3-3, 2 HR (22), 3 RBI, 2 BB, 4 RS – Jim Jeansonne 5.1 IP, 3 ER, 8 H, 1 BB, 4 K, W (8-3, 2.93)
· Francisco “Skipper” Ramos's hitting streak ended at sixteen games.
· 07/05: IN 6, MI 5 – Jason Dahle (IN) 1-2, HR, 2 RBI, 2 RS – Chris Kearns 0.2 IP, 2 ER, 3 H, 1 K, BS (2)
· A series win, but again disappointing because we didn't close out another game.
· Next Week: 3 at Pennsylvania, 3 vs Wisconsin

We are now in extended negotiations with the two international amateur free agents we mentioned above. Both prospects rate as an 80 potential according to our scout, Bobby Hines. We are negotiating with CF Victor “Grasshopper” Valnezula of Venezuela, and RF Pedro Garcia of the Dominican Republic. Our current offers sit at 1.875M with our cap at 1.8M. We are currently at 104% of the cap, so we will see if our situation winds up being affected for next season if one, or both players sign with our organization.

We are at the actual half-way point in our schedule, but I will save an extended wrap-up for the All-Star Break, which will take place after this next upcoming week of play.

Yes, Silvam, I can!

Sorry everyone, we moved and even though I was set to have my internet setup without a glitch on the move, I had all SORTS of drama. Apparently, they didn't have a hook-in at my new place for the cable I had ordered and its been all sorts of trouble.

Just wanted everyone to know it wasn't anything with my health or my computer this time, and I will be restarting posting updates tomorrow.

I'll also make sure to have our quickstart uploaded within a few days as well!

Thanks to all who follow along, definitely didn't mean to not be around, I've missed reading even more than I've missed writing!

Thumbs up is this available

This is so well done! Is your league available as a quickstart? If so that would be AMAZING. How can we get it if it is available? Sorry for maybe asking a stupid question, still new to all this. Thanks for the help!

Well, after an unfortunate hiatus from my computer, I have returned.

After having those internet issues with my move, it also turns out my CPU was on its last legs. LUCKILY, my leagues were backed up before my move, so when I was able to replace my computer, I was able to restart from the backups.

The quickstart was not saved, so I will have to re-do work on it, but I still have all the great logos, unis, and caps -- so it will not hopefully take that long for those that have asked.

I apologize for my long absence, but it truly was out of my control. I am on a fixed income on disability, so I was unable to just go out and buy a new machine, especially with the holidays.

I look forward to getting right back into this league, and again, I apologize to my readers, and hope you'll start to follow along again!

Subject: Eastern States League Wins All-Star Game on Walk-Off Single

The Eastern States League won the All-Star Game 4-3 in walk-off fashion. Michigan Motors first baseman Steve Krauskopf will be remembered for winning the inaugural All-Star contest with a clutch RBI single, scoring Bobby Kastel of the Maine Lobsters in the bottom of the 9th to win the game!

Always wanted to do something like this but never would be able to figure out the feeders and such. Do you think you can post this league as a template or something?

I was actually just finishing putting the whole package together as a quickstart when the computer died. Last season it was just the hard drive, I finally lost the whole thing this time, and unfortunately didn't have it backed up.

I still have all of the logos, uniforms, and caps, I just have to take the time to compile the package together. I don't know where to host it, though. It was always part of the plan all along, so I'll get it together as quick as I can. I'm just glad I had backed up what I had already. I did start putting it together, I just have to make sure that all the uniforms and everything are correct.

I'm actually just working with the quickstart now, I'll see what I can do about finishing it tonight. The file I had backed up isn't pulling the jerseys correctly, a few were changed when the away jerseys were made.

Won't be more than a day or two depending on what all has to be fixed, but maybe we get lucky and I can get it done for everyone tonight.

I've finished the quickstart for the league and am in the process of uploading it to MediaFire as we speak. It's a 30 minute upload apparently... I'll also be trying to have an update on the franchise today, but I wanted to get this done as there were a lot of requests.

I'll share the link here when it is uploaded, and in the initial post of this thread... other than that, I'll be handling all the questions/comments for the quickstart in its own thread that I am going to make in the mods forum.

Thank you all for your interest, and it will be up in just a few minutes!
