Display Problems - Please Help

I have OOTP 5 and everything has been running fine since the day it was released. I just installed the new patch today and loaded up the game. On my team standing page it lists all of the team names but the record, winning % and last 10 game record are all clear (not zeros---nothing is there)

Also, when I highlight the league, team or any other option on the top of the screen the drop down menus are blank. When I scroll over the names they appear and remain. This is weird!!

The only thing that has changed on my computer is that I installed Directx 9.0 when I installed Pirates of the Caribbean. Could this be doing it?

Please help!

What OS? It is possible, have you closed the game and restarted the computer since this?

I sem to be having the same problem. Only with me, the standings screen is fine, but the lineup screen is blank. I can see the rosters and my starter's stats, but the names are blank. I am running windows XP with Direct X 9

What type of league is this? You may either have unzipped an online league improperly or have a corrupt league file. Can you give more details?

I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the game and used the default league, still with the same results. I also have no text on the main opening game screen. I can click on where the "continue league" button would be and it will take me into the game, but the button is blank. Is there a problem using DirectX9 with this game?

Go into the OOTP5 folder and open the "game config" file, toggle the 3d setting, close those things and try the game again.

Steve,

Turning off the direct 3D in the config file worked. Strange that I never had this problem before. Any how thanks!
