Closer to home means his actual house.He wants to play in his back garden or at least the street going past his door.Maybe he'll build a stadium there and they will come.

Yep, there's one of each that I found in default_storylines.xml by searching for "fight" and "affair." See the attached file (spoiler alert) - it's tough to read but you get the gist.

I had thought that there were supposed to be interactive? storylines in 13? Kinda like what happened to Zambrano a few years ago. Where a player would have an outburst and you would have to decide what to do with him, suspend, fine, or ignore? I have yet to see that, but in my current league for most of the teams i have been with my players attitude? are edited so I dont have problem children.

That's a good point, TG. I was thinking the same thing: It seems to me that part of the process of "toning down" storylines was removing the interactivity portion of them. I don't recall seeing one decision-point storyline come up in this current version yet.
