Ootp15?

Still totally new to OOTP and am having fun with OOTP14 that I just purchased. My O's are off to a good start at least but I have a series with those Red Sox looming when I get back to it.

Anyway, my question is regarding the various versions of OOTP (i.e. "OOTP14"). I presume there is a new version released prior to each new baseball season. Is that correct? So there will be a release called "OOTP15" prior to next season? When can we expect the next version (OOTP15) to be released?

Does each new release contain updated internal ratings of each player represented? And does the new release include the real-life injuries that occurred this past season? Just wondering how that works? Any other events programmed into the new releases that come from the previous seasons?

Generally, a new version is released each year right around opening day. They do everything they can to get rosters as up to date as possible for that date.

OOTP15 will have updated rosters and ratings that will be proper as of Opening Day 2014.

You'll also be able to import your OOTP14 league over, so there's no need to restart a league unless you want to.

Keep in mind that if you continue on with a league created with the 2013 roster set the career paths/ratings/performance of players will diverge from what the 2014 roster set may represent.
