Different Baserunning Question
While I haven't had any issue as described below, with runners frequently thrown out at home for me, I do have another issue. It seems to me that runners advance from second to third on fly balls to left field way too often. In real life, it is rare to see a runner at second tag up and advance on a fly to left, but it happens frequently in ootp. Anyone have any thoughts on his?

I don't keep any statistical records, no. But I play 7-10 games a night, and it happens at least once every night. Simply put, it rarely happens irl, so any occurrence catches my eye. It isn't even limited to speedy runners vs lfs with poor arms. Even guys with single digit speeds have advanced on guys with average arms. Just throws me every time it occurs.

Based on that I see 0.92 advances to 3B from 2B on a FB to LF in 15 games. I think this is low because there is no data for advances with 1 out. I could be wrong but... ...

Maybe, but I gotta be honest with you. I must have watched 50 mlb games at least this year, and don't ever remember a guy going from 2nd to 3 rd on a fly to left. On balls to right and center, yeah, frequently. But to left? Really can't recall one.
