Save Problem
Just started playing the game for the first time and I thought I could control when I want to save the game, but it seems to automatically save things whenever I exit whether I want to save it or not. Auto-save is set for once a year. As I like to try different moves to see the results without them affecting a saved game, this is presenting a problem. (For example, I fired my manager to see what would happen next, and now he's permanently fired, even though I never saved the game.) Is there something I'm not doing correctly or a way around this. Thanks.

The only workaround is to create a backup before you make a "test" move. For example, if you wanted to fire your manager just to "see what would happen", you would create a backup before the firing and then restore it afterwards.

Does this mean that the game automatically saves itself whenever you exit? No way around this except for making a backup?

I get around testing things like that by 'crashing' the game if I want to get out of it without saving changes - that probably isn't the best way to go about it though, backup and restore I'm sure is much safer!
The game will always save on exit though. |

You can save as a quickstart and replay your game as many times as you want from the same point. If you want to quit without saving, just force-quit. The game auto-saves on quit because that's behaviour about 99% of users would find desirable.
