Free Agency Bidding with Multiple Teams in Same City
When making an offer to a player, I often see something like this:
"So far, Chicago has made the best offer" Is there any way I can tell WHICH Chicago? |

Make sure that both Chicago teams have different names.

Related question... do the players ever lie?
'You are goign to need to offer more because I have an offer from...' is that ever fabricated? |

In any league I've ever had, if there are multiple teams in the same area, only one of them can use the main city name. The rest have to adopt a major suburb/neighborhood as their name.
I try to avoid multi-team cities, as I find it boring, but when I expanded my Australian fictional league for the heck of it, it was hard to imagine putting a team in sub-100,000 people cities when Sydney and Melbourne only had one. |
