ootp 15 list
I'm brand new to this and I just downloaded ootp 14 last night. I only got to play it for a couple hours but soon realized that its awesome. Here are my ideas for next years version:
1.) Ballpark customization- It would be awesome if you were able to spend money on upgrading/customizing your stadium. Add seats for more attendance, add consessions for a little bonus money, maybe bring in or push back the outfield fences. Or maybe take a completely different approach and take a page from MVP 2005 owner mode. 2.) T.V. Contracts- Maybe if your team has dominated the past couple years you can sign a contract with a big TV station and get some big bucks. 3.) Scout recommendations- ask your scout what they think about a player. See if he thinks you should make a push to acquire him, or ask him if he's ready to be called to the bigs. Again, I'm very inexperienced with this game and I'm just getting my feet wet. |

Even though you can edit the stadiums already, I think it might be cool to have that part of the game be a bit more interactive. Sure, you can change anything you want right now, but it's either purely cosmetic or can be changed on a whim, no strings attached. It'd be cool to be able to pay money to upgrade your ballpark to make more money, and I think that's what he's suggesting.

I'd like to be able to change certain basic rules, like game length. (7 instead of 9, etc)

RchW explains why that's a good, but unlikely, idea. |
