In my league Stephen Strausburg seems to take home the Triple Crown and Cy Young every year while Harper takes home the other triple crown and MVP every year.

Very nice - have not had one on my team yet. As an aside, he sure has a good K to BB ratio. At only 25 years of age, he should be a force to reckon with for quite some time.

Yeah, I've seen Strasburg get it a few times. I think he did it once as a Philly, which just makes my skin crawl.
As for the batting triple crown, I've never had a player win it, but I have had a combined triple crown on my team (one player had the highest batting average, and Giancarlo Stanton had the most HR's and RBI's). Of course, that was playing as the Astros with trading difficulty on normal, and fleecing the AI at every turn. That and two minor league scrubs suddenly became superstars in their late 20's. |
