Why is this game still unplayable after a month and a half after release

what the title says
its been realeased for what almost a month and a half yet this game is still unplayable,why was this game released as such a unfinished product,why is it not fixed yet what are the devs doing this is ridiculous.i could understand if it came out not working and then the first patch fixed the game but that's not what happened here.They have had a month and a half to fix this bs but nothing has been fixed.I am actually surprised they haven't been sued yet for false advertising.

The game even if it isn't perfect is playable... stop being an over the top drama queen. I know that will be hard for you to do since this is all you do since the eight of september.

So because I posted on 5 different days in a month and a half that this half finished game has been out that's all I do.actally I work for a living and every once and a awhile I check on this game that ootp blatanly false avertised advertised to see if they acyally fixed it yet but of course that haven't that already have our money.a month and a half is more than enough time to have this game out of beta.and if you think otherwise you should have your head checked.ic it was this bad it should not have been released until these issues were dealt with.

First off: This game is out of Beta. That's actually at the core of those who are unhappy with the game's state: This is version 1, and there are still game breaking issues.

'Unplayable' is a matter of opinion. You have fanboiz who bristle at the word - there are plenty of them on this subforum - and those tending to agree with you.

Personally I think the game is playable in the sense that 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial' was playable for the Atari 2600 in 1982. If you're unfamiliar with that game - you're lucky. And you can read about it here:

Awful planing, awful programing, wasting time to try to get more sales via "window dressings" instead of focusing primarily on the programing, which they didn't do.

I've looked through your last dozen posts and not one is productive in any meaning of the sense. NOT ONE! You represent hypocrisy at it's finest my friend. Well done.

Justblazin, pm the dev for a refund if you are unhappy. I'm sure they will waive the 1 week time period if you ask them to via personal message. I fully understand where you are coming from and believe you are fully entitled to it. Then check back here if you wish in 6 months and try out the demo.

The game is not in beta. The patch was. It means.. there is a released version of the game (non-beta) and there was a patch in preparation. It (the patch) was released in beta version for users who want to test it and report problems. Other users should use pre-patch version of the game. Now the patch is released in its non-beta version too.

I'm ignoring the idea that beta = unplayable for my nerves' sake.

I guess the developers saying it is in full release is irrelevant?

And that patch listed as "beta patch" ... refers ONLY to that patch, as in they released it early to appease the masses without extensive testing ... the patch itself was in beta, not the game.

Now ... unplayable? No, it's playable

Balanced and polished? Nope, not balanced correctly yet (though I'm at work and haven't tried the patch they released today) and it definately needs a lot of polish in the GUI etc.

But it is definitely playable though.

Perhaps you should in fact list off these issues you're having instead of the blanket statement that it is "unplayable"

Oh, and the public release patch today has an extensive lists of fixes ... so again, "nope hasn't been fixed" is over the top drama

And this is coming from me, who is annoyed at how little OOTP communicates and how bad this game was on release day.

Soooo you're unable to sim seasons, create a game etc?

Because, I am .... and yeah, it might not be balanced correctly, or the AI is dumb in some instances ... but it's definately "playable" :P

What you should be comparing is you got a low-budget vehicle instead of the fancy Bugatti you wished for

This game is indeed playable, definately is not balanced for realism yet, has some issues with player developement and some bugs ... but to make comparisons that it is "unplayable" or completetly broken "without brakes" as you put it, is just over reaction to the disappointment that the game is not quite where it should be
