Firings before November?

As of right now, most AI managers and GMs don't get fired until after the season. In real-life, these guys usually get fired right after the season is over. If we had this happen in OOTP it would give us more options for hiring a manager and/or GM.

In my league which has 5 ML's 12 mgrs have been fired, 4 from minor leagues. I would guess it does happen 10% of the time which may be too low for RL, but I also feel the AI gives up on talented mgrs too early. Why fire a mgr after a record of 70-92 when you are an expansion team and your mgr is legendary in all ratings?

Sorry my reading skills may be off today but I can't see the difference between "after the season" and "right after the season is over". What exactly is the timeline? After the WS or by Nov 15th? I'd suggest there is a domino effect. Most teams should wait until other mangers/coaches come onto the market before making changes.

I'm confused also - what's the difference?

Honestly I think there should be one day where all these 'pent up' coaches who have been fired/let go/contracts expired hit the market. The way it is right now, you have to play each day in September and watch the Available Personell screen for new entrants.

Sorry. I should have clarified between "after the regular season" and "after the post-season". I rarely see managers fired during the season.

Granted my unierse covers many leagues but as I stated earlier I have seen many including minor league mangers which I dont think I ever noticed before. Earliest I have seen someone fired this season was mid june and that was the minor league guy.
