Let's abandon the word "unplayable"

As it seems that many in the community do not understand what a poster says when they state that this game is "unplayable" I say we table that word, and replace it with "this game is not giving me anywhere near the experience that I expected when I purchased it."

I think that best describes the feeling of many of us...

That's correct. It's playable but not where it should be.

Playable yes, but I can't get it to play more than one season before it says it encountered an error and closes the program. I enjoy it while in the season but when i try to run from end to beginning of new season it crashes. Where does that fit in the scheme of things for Playable?

The analogy I gave was this:

IF you booted up Half Life and all you could do is spin around in a circle and swing your crowbar as monster after monster ran at you, the game would be playable, but it would not be the experience the player wanted or expected.

It's a hockey sim that doesn't simulate the way that hockey is.(Yet)

If you order a steak and get a burger it's still edible...

Everyone has a different definition of playable based on how they play the game. So using the word unplayable and giving reasons why is perfectly acceptable in my mind.

To me unplayable means I can't or don't want to play the game. I'm not at that point but can understand those who are.
