MORE storylines please!
More to do with the players? Like... in my dynasty, I suffered a rash of medium injuries, 2-4 weeks, but to my entire outfield, and I was forced to promote my top OF prospect straight from AA to the majors well ahead of schedule, it would be cool if, he had a walkoff hit or something, for there to be some sort of news story generated like the following:
---------------------------------------------------------- New York Mets centerfielder Jeremy Partners knows that were it not for a freak rash of injuries which decimated the Mets outfield, he would still be toiling in the minor leagues. Partners, who was hitting .305/.463/.590/1.054 in 105 ABs this season in Binghamton, isn't trying to do too much during this callup to the majors. "I know that it's not exactly my time to be up here, I'm just trying to take it all in, the atmosphere, the excitement, and at the same time, trying to help these guys win games. It's tough when you're shorthanded, and I'm just trying to listen as best I can to Ross [Pearson, Mets Manager], Sandy [Ryne Sandberg, Mets bench coach] and Donnie [Don Mattingly, Mets hitting coach]. It's a whole nother world up here, that's for sure, you don't get wipeout sliders and curveballs in Double A!" When asked about what the plan for Partners was once the Mets outfield returned to full health, Mets GM Tejesh Patel was crystal clear. "He'll go to AAA Las Vegas, he's one of the top outfield prospects in baseball, and there's no room in our outfield, when healthy, for him to play everyday, which is critical for him. We're excited to have gotten to see him at the major league level, but he is clearly overmatched, the fact he's surviving at all is a testament to how good of an athlete he is." Meanwhile, all free agent to be center fielder Joc Pederson can do is watch on the sidelines as his replacement gets major league experience. Pederson is on the sidelines with a torn ligament in his thumb. One can only wonder what's going through his mind as he watches the man who possibly might replace him next season as center fielder for the two time defending World Series winning Mets. Ron Burgundy contributed to this article.

That would be cool, but - just saying - that's technically not a storyline. It would be a news report about an on-field event. By definition, storylines are random or semi-random events that are independent from specific on-field happenings (even though some only occur after a loss, etc.).

If I might add my opinion, I would love to see the News Stories expanded more, just like the one above. Along with MUCH more storylines and INTERACTIVE storylines.
I think there is a lot more that goes on behind the scenes in RL, and I think most everyone can appreciate the color and flavor that storylines, news reports, and interactive storylines can add to a season. Especially if you are in your 20th season, hanging onto the bottom rung of your division, with no REAL good projects in the farm system to tend too. EXPAND AND ENHANCE NEWS STORIES, STORYLINES, AND INTERACTIVE STORYLINES FOR OOTP15!!!!
