Changing Player Origin Options Well Into The Game: Possible?

I am a few years into a dry run on a fictional league I want to try out, and I'm running into a potentially major problem.

The league starts out with players coming from a certain set of countries exclusively, but now I am at the point where I want to seed in some additional countries to obtain new players from. However, when I got to League Setup > Options > Default Player Origin and I select Edit, I am not able to get it to show more countries. See below.

No matter what buttons I've pushed, I have not been able to get it to open up to previously-unused countries.

Can anyone help solve this for me? Thanks.

no problem in my game...are you on the latest patch? put it in the bug report.

Is it anything to do with what your game region is set to? I assume from the screenshot that it is set to United Kingdom - I had the same for my fictional British and Irish league and realised that it meant I couldn't include the Republic of Ireland in the player origin settings.

When I changed it to Western Europe, the rest of the countries in that region were listed and I was able to use the Republic of Ireland as well as the constituent countries of the UK. I haven't tried any other settings but I assumed that the wider it is set the more countries are listed.

Yes, this behaviour will definitely happen if you have chosen a Region for your league.

That's it. I went back into League Setup > Names & Affiliations, changed Region (optional) to "no region specified", and it showed me all the countries again. Thanks!
