Editing Career Stats
I am new to this - I have read through many threads on this and can't seem to figure it out.
If I am editing a .csv file in Excel, how do I then import that file as career stats? I really want to edit the career stats of players. I got the stats to import after resaving the .csv as a .txt file, but the stats are incorrect, the team and year doesn't show up, and I followed the directions in the notepad file exactly. I don't understand?

If you muck about with the file name it is not likely to work. These are CSV files not TXT files. So that is problem #1.
Save them as CSV files in the exact same format you started with. Leave no columns out even if they are just empty.

Sprtize,
is there a certain format it should be saved under? I have Excel 2007, open as a text file in csv mode. When I attempt to save the text file, it re-formats it every time without the commas in the text file. Any suggestions? |
