Help moving to new computer

Getting a new computer and I need help
I am getting a new computer..and I would appreciate step by step simpleton instructions on how to move my OOTP5 game to my other machine.
I assume it would be easiest to redownload the game and save the various folders to a disk or could I zip them, email them to another location and then send them back to me?
can the whole kit and kaboodle be backed to cd?

To complicate matters,,,,my computer has always had trouble with the game...using ME...after I play a game or two i need to reboot my computer each and every time...think that somehow has to do with the way Imported the rosters...but have just worked around it....

Please advise..On moving the game...no game, no new(used) computer

I wouldn't just back the whole game off of your machine to a cd, it has to be installed again on the new machine. The only thing you should need to back up are your league folders, but those are probably too big to email to yourself. I just looked at one of my league folders, and with logos and player photos, mine is already 130MB, and I'm sure they can get bigger than that. To put it simple, copy your league folders to a cd, install the game from scratch on the new machine, then copy the league folders to the new machine, then you should be good to go. Or did I completely miss your question? Sometimes I ramble...

Thanks

I appreciate your advice, I was amazed by the size of some of these folders....I tried to zip and send to my work email, etc but the thing was too large...
Will copy the folders to cd....
I hear you on ME....I went to great lengths to get the game to work properly..using my PIII-3 866....I upgraded ram, bought Norton....problem got better...atleast now all I have to do is reboot after playing...previously it would freeze things completely...had to unplug the computer it was a mess..
Found a display model at Best Buy...running at 2.4ghz...had a 150 store credit and bought the puppy for $525...very excited about it..
In April everyone on this board said dump ME
But now...OOTP has cost 37.50 plus....the ram on the old machine and now a new computer....but I am totally absorbed...and have to set a clock to avoid getting sucked into a warp..
This hasn't happened to me for a very long time...51 year old gamer...so again thanks..
Like your shubway.....I lost 100lbs in the last year and didn't go there once....

Also, don't forget to unlicense the game on the old machine. You don't want to burn one of your elicenses on an installation that's not being used anymore.
