Best minor league team ever?

I just finished 1989, and was looking at the minor league standings, when I came across this. Couldn't believe it when I first saw it.

67-1? Damn! I know the independent teams tend to clean up in the OOTP minor leagues, but still, wow!

And I thought my 150-12 record was as good as it got.

Anybody ever see a team go undefeated? Because that's the only way they could have been better.

Real-life minor league record: 68-2 .971 set by a DSL affiliate of the Blue Jays back in 1992.

Not too far off, then. I guess it's not out of the realm of possibility. Salt Lake was pretty good in real life back then too, with the 29-game win streak in '87.

Indianapolis Arrows in the ML at 150-12 is more spectacular to me. I've seen outrageous records like this quite a lot on these forums. Is this due to creating custom players or is it really possible to have a .900+ record in the majors with this game. Personally I wouldn't find that realistic or enjoyable.

OOTP-created, a few edited by me, most not. Only a couple actual big-leaguers (Tommy John and Razor Shines) on my roster, as deep reserves. I keep real big-league rosters, except for my team and another fictional team (Buffalo). Except that I allow the four worst teams to pick two players from the best OOTP-created minor leaguers available at the end of each season now to try to restore some competitive balance. Not sure why I was quite that good this year. A couple of outfielders went nuts and broke the 60-HR mark (with performance-enhancing edits), and one pitcher (not edited at all, just as OOTP made him) went 30-0!

I wanted a couple seasons to see just how good a team could do in OOTP. Now that I've reached 150 wins, I think it's time to bring a bit of balance back. Fun while it lasted, though!

Most OOTP-created minor leaguers don't get called up unless they A)reach AAA level or B) have more than one season at at least 4/5 stars overall. Or they've played 15 or more years in the minors at a high level and I just feel sorry for 'em and give them at least a cup of coffee.
