I'm a little concerned nobody official has posted in almost a week

Andreas did post in this very thread yesterday: "The FHM team is working on the next patch, don't worry. No break for anybody We found a few issues which slowed down the game, especially when you're loading a saved game and it's all much faster now. And a few (potential) crash bugs have been removed. "

I know it's not a ton and I would like to see more myself...

Hopefully it's quiet because they're working very hard on fixing the problems without distractions such as this forum, and don't want to say anything until they have a major announcement or a new patch.

I will write a bit more later but want to comment on this first: the Bug is fixed with 1.0.3 but to get it working you need to start a new game. We will make sure to mark fixes that need a new game to be effective better next time.

Thanks for the response. I have started new games with 1.0.3 and still have the trade screen show random teams that aren't mine. Maybe it's because I'm playing as St Louis. I know there was an issue with them in 1.0. As a Blues fan I should be used to things not going the way I expect them.

I can confirm on at least one occasion, new game, 1.0.3 Historical ... making a trade with Detroit, looked at a player profile, hit the back arrow and the text was talking as if I was Detroit now ... ie "Montreal has a weakness at Left Wing blah blah"

Hm, can you give me an exact rundown on what you do? I tried to reproduce it here but can't. If I start a modern game, take St. Louis and start a trade by a) right clicking on a player or b) using the Link in Team Menu it comes up with the right teams.

As Andreas already wrote, we are hard at work on patch number two. I will try to generate a list of fixes we did so far tomorrow and post it here.

More general speaking, maybe it was not a good idea to have so much in version 1 but if we have less, people will complain about the missing stuff, so thats a lose-lose situation for us. But don't worry, we will continue to work on FHM every day, just as the past 1 1/2 years and we will improve it with every patch we will release. The first priority is to get the game into a stable state. I fear most problems come when people start to edit things, which is the hardest part to test with all the possible situations. But we will go through all settings internally and try to find possible bugs (in addition to monitor the forums of course). Once the existing stuff works as expected we will go into phase two and enable the existing (but deactivated) stuff in the game. Once that works as expected we go to phase 3 and start to add new stuff. The good thing is, we don't have to care about version 2 for a long time, we still have many month to work on version 1.

Thanks for update but i think you should have just delayed till release 2 and released it as release 1, this what you released won't do your reputation any good outside, it was nothing like Gold release should be out there, half the things missing still and buggy as hell. When its not ready just better delay it and when its better release it, no people complain on that im sure, they can wait for a good product.

Hi i have the same problem that the one mentioned above : For the sake of it, I (Montreal Canadiens) go to Buffalo's Roster Overview screen, right click on the first name, the goalie Jonas enroth and make trade offer, and that's what the next screen be like :

But if i Go to Montreal team tab, select Trade Player(s) and choose buffalo it is alright So i guess you could say it's the right clicking thing that doesn't work properly ! Maybe it has to do with me making a lot of trade offers with multiple teams, that is when i want to get rid of a player, instead of putting him on trade list and wait for offers ^^

Thanks for the update Sebastian I think this will reassure a lot of people. It is good to hear you describe the plans for the different phases that the team will work on and that you will add more new stuff to the game before concentrating on FHM2015.

Good luck and keep up the good work it is much appreciated by all of the FHM users

Of course I respect your opinion but a sentence like "[...] half the things missing still and buggy as hell. [...]" does not help me at all. I concentrate on coding and my time to read on the board is limited so it would be great if you could list the stuff that is "buggy as hell". In addition, what exactly are the "half the things missing"? Both lists would help me to make sure to improve the game. Thanks for your help!

Version 1 does have bugs but it looks like the development team are working pretty hard to correct those. Patch 1.03 was out less than a week after release and they are already updating us on Patch 1.0?. Think that tells us that they know there are bugs but they are fixing them and pretty quickly by all accounts.

Fix expansion and add in some sort of preseason (Exhibition Games and the ability to try out players) and I'm a major league happy dude

When you are in commissioner mode you can't change the league structure/add teams it is greyed out. You mentioned addressing greyed out options in your earlier post in phase 2 I think it was.

The button I want implemented is the League Expansion Wizard :P

That way, you start historical with "expand automatically" off ... and then expand when and where you want to ... save franchises that moved, etc etc

Forgot that one as well. I would prefer to expand in the current NHL and bring back the Quebec Nordiques and maybe a team in Portland or Seattle.
