Commish Mode
Does anyone know if this option will be coming out before the season starts
Where I can play NHL and control every team team within it, so that I can simulate the current season using real life lineups, line combos, etc. and play the season as it actual unwinds this year thanks |

I actually thought multiplayer was coming in this most recent update but it appears they left it to get the bugs worked out. Good decision but no, none of us know when it will be added.

I play the same way...I update real life transactions everyday as well. I have found if you go into commish mode, click off the injuries, click off the trading and free agent it should shut down any player movement.
Next, to update the rosters and lineup each day, you have to take control of each team you want to update. When a trade or a signing occurs in real life, I will just go to the individual player and change his team in the edit section. I also upped the roster from 23 to 30, contract maximum to 90 and expanded the salary cap to $94M so it doesn't get in the way of any real life transaction that may occur. Playing a game, you have to be in control of that team as well. I haven't started a "real" season yet, as it hasn't started in real life of course.....but this has worked so far in my test game. Also, if you haven't noticed, the OT rules for playoffs has the default time for a period set at 5 minutes....change it to 20 minutes during set up or you'll only have 5 minute playoff periods in the playoffs. |

No, multiplayer will be in the first big update that adds content - the bug-fixing patches will be done before that, the first one (things we could fix quickly that required minimal testing) was what came out last week, the next one, date TBA, will involve fixes that take more investigation/coding/testing time. Then the big update.
