Still cant sign my own RFAs
as the title says, i cant sign my own RFAs. as a test, i made 2 offers and simmed ahead a month. both offers are still there, the players have neither accepted or rejected.
interestingly, i traded for derek stepans rights and was able to sign him. |

and, it looks like there is no separation between the RFAs and the UFAs. the RFA/Offer sheet screen always has no players, while the UFA screen has a mix of FAs.

Is this a problem for everyone? I haven't bought the game yet, but this would make a hockey management game pretty unplayable.

Still cant resign my players who are about to become free agents either. I'm Edmonton and want to resign Hemsky, offered him a 5 year deal and I'm two months into the season with no reply. I figure to keep playing I'm going to have to trade him or let him become a free agent.

also of interest regarding the offers ive made to my 2 RFAs, is that i cant 'remove offer'. right clicking doesnt bring up any sort of menu as it does with UFAs.

I tried to resign someone, and when i clicked ask for response.. I got nothing, when I clicked on meet demand (no idea at this point what demand was) he was excited about it.
players should A actually respond B demands should be known

Maybe that's just the new Daniel Alfredsson engine the devs have introduced?

Just to add more detail to this bug, when you edit in commisioner mode, the salary for the 2013/2014 season is listed as 2014/2015 (When you edit the salary listed as 2014/2015, the corresponding change effects the current season which is by default 2013/2014). I suspect this bug has something to do with when Jeff updated everything to the current 2013/2014 season. I never had a problem with builds before the "current season update"
This is a pretty major bug that makes it pretty difficult to enjoy more than one season IMO. Hopefully, this can be fixed in this next update. |

Yeah, I can't resign any of my free agents either. :-( I hope this gets fixed ASAP. I don't wanna play out the season and lose all my FAs.

...Sigh
switch to commissioner mode edit player and sign him to a decent contract for the period of time you see fit and once its patched you wont have to do that.
