Almost

Started working up a league. STarted getting the bug. Downloaded the demo. Then I realized the same issues that have prevented me from buying this game in the past still exist.

1. Still can't do true start from scratch custom leagues, where you can use real players and real coaches.

2. Still cant' dump coaches before a season and having a signing period.

3. Most of all, still have to spend hours on end playing with however many ball locations there are to actually even get the game playable.

Why is it that whether it a Will Wrightless Maxis or OOTP Developments,
developers don't give a damn about the gamers that buy their product anymore.

Developers are so out of touch, it's ridiculous.

Some people's kids...

Maybe...just maybe the world doesn't revolve around you. Not every thing that YOU want in the game is a priority. Must be an only child because all of those issues brought up are probably quite low on the majority of users play list. Most fictional leaguers like to play with fictional players so how about we get that taken care of first.

I post this knowing it may upset the devs cause they have more class than you do and will let this ridiculous thread stay up but might remove my post but I really hope you read this before that happens. Grow up. Although looking at your message history you should probably just leave all together cause all you do is complain. EVERY post you have made is a complaint. Good riddance. Get a refund and I will donate the money they lost to the company cause youre not worth keeping.

From what I have seen thus far, they are far from non caring. In fact they have been very clear with us, and continue to let us know what is going on. They also continue to work on this "BETA" until "ACTUAL" release, and well beyond.

Having issues with the game is fine, but don't come and spew out untruthful complaints. Many companies would fit your complaints, believe me I understand that, but OOTP/FHM doesn't in my opinion give off that vibe.

Well in terms of wuality this game still is as bad as the flawed s+it major comanies like EA and friends throw at us using their quasi monopoly. But i know if devleopers of FHM keep their spirit like this this game will be awesome. If i could acucse them of anything its quite the opposite: Caring too much and wanting to cater to every wish of every niche customer possible. Maybe it woudl ahve been wiser to make the first game very absic and working in its basic functions instea dof trying to do thing slike historical , and especially fictional mode form the start. I think because of thsi the game will still habe MAJOR flwas at release and get more of this criticism. I hope it survives that and live sup to its potential which is nearly limitless. Really hope it works out fianancially and developers also keep up their spirit.

This is their first attempt at a hockey simulator. It's not going to be flawless in version 1. The developers are active on these boards, responding to comments and criticism and listening to what people have to say. They are not out of touch whatsoever.
