I am undecided.... I am using my iPhone for testing and it 'works' but the screen is so small its difficult to read and click on buttons. In order for the iPhone to be up to a release standard the UI would need a complete redesign. The iPad has got a bigger screen and apart from a few tweaks to allow fingers to hit things, can be the same skin. Maybe the iPhone retina would work, but again hitting things with ones finger will be an issue.

I can understand using a tablet, but no good smartphone has a screen large enough to take full advantage of Title Bout. Best you could do is allow someone to sync the records so he could view them on the go.

I will start with, I,m sorry if I offend anyone. But as a loyal TBCB supporter for many years (the original Avalon Hill card game, Jim Trunco....and after all this wait, I can't believe we now have a new version that still is.......Politely, I will say struggling. I have been waiting years for the new incarnation. Why are not all the bugs fixed yet? Why are you working at all on other platforms. If I,m missing something please let me know. I won't buy the game, again, again, again. Until... What's up?

Wiggins,
What's up is Paul purchased the game from OOTP, but is still using these forums. In order for him to justify the cost of that purchase, he has to generate sales. And with today's tech savvy youth, getting THEM into the game by offering it on mulitple platforms will allow Paul to have the funds to bring out TBCB 2014 (what we've always called 3.0) for ALL platforms including windows. In order for him to make a living, he needs sales. In order to get sales he needs a broader base than those of us who live in the basement from 2.5. |

I understand that, but its been what 3,4 years? I'm getting to old to wait. Actually, at 59 I just had a new born son. Normally I would have purchased the game bugs and all. But my game playing time is really limited again for the first time in 30 years (First son, previous wife). I just love the game so much and I've waited so long. No big deal. Good luck to Paul.

And my fingers aren't as nimble, either. I have become a good friend of the stylus!

Congrats on the newborn son! Nothing more pleasing than parenting, no matter the age. You're only 4 years older than me, so I understand... ![]() Paul just bought the game earlier this year if memory serves (admittedly as I gain more gray I forget more things, so it may have been last year...lol), and he's not been working on it all that long. I have faith in the direction he's headed though, which is why I was so defensive on his behalf. Nothing personal! John |

Thanks, Jabez and Infinity. Pretty crazy. Wife is 17 years my junior and this is her first. We had my son who is 32, my Grandson who is 3 1/2 and my granddaughter who is 6 months at the house two weeks ago. I bought a teeshirt for my 32 year old son that said "I'm the older brother" He took a picture with my newborn Jack. It was pretty funny. I'll just keep checking back to see if and when this version stabilizes a bit. And I really do mean Good Luck to Paul.
