Help!

I need some help... I'm in a few online leagues (4 to be exact.) I went to download a league file in one of them yesterday after the sim was run and I was getting an error that the game could not connect to the FTP sever. I went to the site and Chrome looked to be timing out.

I go to access the forum/site on my phone (4G service) and the site loads up perfectly fine. Turn the WiFi on my phone and the site stops loading. Only while on my home WiFi. Needless to say, I can't access the league file to download the file and or export. Ive scanned my computer for viruses, malware, anything and everything. I've done everything I can think of.

I'm hoping someone out there in the OOTP world can help me fix this problem!!

Sounds like a wifi problem.

That's the only site that won't load. My other 3 leagues download and work without a problem.

Have you contacted the commissioner?

The site is working properly, its something on my end...

If I turn the WiFi off on my phone, the site loads perfectly fine. The second I turn on my WiFi on, it stops loading. It's like Chrome and or any other browser just doesn't see it.

I've exhausted all of my computer knowledge possible so I was just wondering if others had experienced this before and knew how to fix it.

Never heard of just one website not loading when it loads for everyone else, unless of course you are using some kind of IP blocker.

Let me get this straight, you are using a computer to connect to a WiFi router? Or are you using your phone as a WiFi hotspot?

Sorry for any confusion.

I'm at home, using a wireless router with service provided by AT&T U-verse. As of two days ago everything worked normally. Now the website (forum, main site) do not load, it just times out and says "Chrome can't load" or some general error. When trying to download the latest file in game, I get a "Cannot connect to FTP server."

I've tried changing to passive mode, download thru html, all of the different options and no luck. 3 other leagues i do not have an issue downloading or accessing the sites.

I've mentioned it on the league forums (Which I can access on my phone in 4G mode) and no one has seen this before either.

I've cleared cookies, history, temp files, i've run a virus scan, did windows defender, i've done everything I can think of without any success.

This sounds more like an issue with the wireless router, firewall, ftp settings, cache, etc then a problem with the game itself. If I were you I would find some tech support forums and search the internet to find a possible solution to the problem. Here is a google search you could try 'unable to load one website'.

I've tried and nothing has worked. How did it work 2 days ago and then all of a sudden it stops? It's the only website that I have come across that doesn't work. I'm so frustrated and confused I dont know what else to try so thats why I posted here hoping someone had more internet/computer knowledge than myself (I rank my computer knowledge as about a 55-60 on the 20-80 ratings scale)

Were you banned from the website? Just throwing that out there, and with what you are describing it is a perfectly logical cause of that problem.

It appears to be an issue on AT&T's end. I downloaded the latest file thru my cell phone (Verizon service) and unzipped and put into OOTP. Out of a whim I decided to export the file and it went thru. I check the website and all of a sudden... everything works again!

Someone else in the league has AT&T u-verse service and they were unable to access the site as well. I'm still confused at how it fixed it self but at least it's fixed.

Thanks for your help to everyone who responded.
