Release All Coaches - Question

If I release all coaches for a Double A team that should not affect the AAA or ML will it?

It only affects the league you have selected.

For most things that's true, but honestly, I'm not sure about this one. I got caught recently trying to delete league history in a minor league team and I lost the entire league history for the game, I think in part because that minor league team was not in preseason. It deserves some testing. I used to be more confident, but once burned, twice shy, as they say. The popups are usually pretty accurate. This one 'seems' to infer it's broader than the selected league.

Thats why I havent tried it. Besides, if it does release all coaches then i will have 700 coaches then I have to figure out who the coaches from this league are and delete them. on 14 it has been only putting in real players as coaches even if they played 100 yrs ago.

It's never been possible in OOTP to delete the history of one team in a league that I'm aware of. That's probably why it affected your full league.

I have used the delete coaches option previously - it affects the league you have selected.

Why not just make a copy of your league, or a test league, and try doing it to see what happens?

For as long as I've played OOTP, I always have a test league setup. Anytime I'm not sure what something might do - the good old test league fulfills it's calling yet again.
