Have you always wanted to be on the staff of a top-tier OOTP league but never had the luck of knowing the right people? Are you dedicated to your work, honest, and committed to contributing to an exceptional community?

MLB Pro is currently on the search for committed people to join our staff. We are the only realistic one day, every day OOTP sim league and while we have already become one of the best leagues around, we still need help maintaining and growing our league so that it can meet its full potential.

As mentioned before, MLB Pro sims one day, every day so we keep perfect pace with the actual MLB schedule. Today is August 12th, 2013 and it is the same date in game. We started last year and 2/3rds of our membership have been with us since the beginning. It is an incredibly difficult, nuanced league that puts great pride and importance in producing a top tier product but it is also one that is rewarding every single day.

Here are the following positions we are looking to fill. Quality work will be paid handsomely in a league point system we are currently creating. We have just enough teams to fill these positions so if you are interested in joining one of the best leagues running right now, and you have the experience or drive to handle one of these positions, this is your perfect opportunity.

Webmaster

We need a Joomla! 2.5 expert to help with the maintenance of the websites. This will involve general maintenance, resolving any problems or repairs needed, and generally keeping the website looking professional. This may also involved filling requests for changes by the staff but they will not be a priority and the timetable will be set according to the webmaster's ability.

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief will be in charge of making sure all articles written by members are professionally written and edited and then posted on the website in a timely fashion. Experience with Joomla! not necessary, as you will be trained in how to post articles to the website, but you need to have above-average spelling and grammatical skills.

Recruitment Officer

The recruitment officer will be in charge of finding quality general managers to fill vacancies in MLB and ***. They need to be a top-notch salesman and not only be familiar in the qualities of MLB Pro, but the qualities desired in a good general manager. The Recruitment Officer will do with work in the OOTP forums, various other sim forums, and other OOTP leagues (after gaining permission.)

Social Media Officer

In charge of updating and maintaining the league Facebook and Twitter accounts, keeping both fresh with new material, and expanding use for both within and outside of the league.

Journalists (Multiple)

We are looking for people who have experience in journalism and can write about the league in general and not just their team. On occasion, you may get an assignment but the majority of the time, you will have completely control over their stories you write about.

Radio Hosts (Multiple)

We have been working on building up a stable of radio hosts who can offer color and flavor to our league on our MLB Pro Online Radio Network. If you have a good voice, can speak clearly and with collected thoughts, and enjoy taking phone calls and giving your boisterous opinion on matters in the league, we want you.
