Storylines Questions

Is there a storyline that ever removes/retires a player for good, NOT due to injury? Say for example, banned for life (circa. Pete Rose)

Also, when I read about the features of this game I though it talked about "Interactive Storylines". In my mind I interpreted that as, a player on my team is involved in a storyline, and from the actions menu I need to make a selection on what to do...did I interpret that wrong because I have not seen that yet. Or was I just way off base and there never was anything about "Interactive Storylines"?

There are a number of storylines in which the player gives up baseball for football, missionary work, etc. Plus, I found this one in the storylines file:

To answer your other question, many storylines involve messages sent to you as the GM for your decision. Results depend upon what you decide, making for the "interactive" aspect.

However, the thing about storylines in this game is that they seem to be rare. I know about certain requirements (being in charge of the team; receiving BNN news, etc.) and I have them all covered but I'll be darned if I've seen more than a handful of storylines in my 12-season league. I can count them on one hand and none were of the interactive variety.
