3 Injuries & One Player Kicked Out In One Game? That's A 1st.

Never had this happen before. My 2B got booted for arguing balls & strikes in the 2nd, in the 4th my 3B gets injured sliding into 2B. in the 5th my LF gets injured running into the LF wall. in the 7th my C gets injured chasing after a passed ball. Bad enough i only have 3 starters in my lineup to begin with. My starting LF, 1B, RF and SS are all on the DL for 2-8 weeks, I also have 2 MR on the DL. I am down to a backup AAA OF as my lone bench player in the 7th. He is hitting .145 in 6 games.

EDIT: LF only missed the rest of the game, 3B is out for 1 game. C 3 weeks and 2B suspended for 2 games. Losing my starting C is gonna hurt both AAA C's are terrible.

Ouch. Might be a good time to see what's on the waiver wire for catchers or free agents.

I have played a TON of games in OOTP and don't ever recall seeing a catcher getting injured chasing a passed ball/wild pitch. How funny.

Incidentally, I do see lots of games where 2 guys get hurt but maybe that's just a weird coincidence I sometimes notice. Never seen 3 before.

i offered Garald Laird a minor league deal. My RF can also catch but then I need a RF 2 of my OF are in the DL. My backup C is having a decent year and can start most of the games.

You hold the record as far as I know. I lost three in one game once and thought that was as bad as it got. Clearly not.

You may want to go into your setup and make it harder to sustain injuries.

I was half tempted to start a "Does 14 have more injuries" thread but figured it would be taken out of context. It was just a fluke game. Plus it didn't help that the worst team in the other league took 2 of 3 from us. It also doesn't help that I have traded 6 players from the OD roster away to try to get younger.
