I know they're not choices, but I'd say definitely either Portland/Vancouver or Charlotte (I usually call the team the "Carolina ______" when I do that one). |

I like Charlotte but my mom lives in OK City and they certainly need more excitement there.

Just say no to Canada, put a new team in the Carolinas and move the Blue Jays to Brooklyn.

Canada has a better record of supporting baseball than the state of Florida does, at this point.
Also, saying that there's no difference between St. Pete and Tampa is like saying there's no difference between St. Louis and East St. Louis. I'm pretty sure the Cardinals, even with their fanbase, would have some issues packing (ok, poor phrasing there) the house in East St. Louis. |

Agreed. I'm a native Brooklynite and would love to see a baseball franchise there but, the Yankees and Mets would never allow it.
In fact, any team that would try to relocate to New York, Northern & Central NJ and parts of Connecticut would be moving to Yankees and Mets territory. Realistically would never happen.

(Interestingly, the NHL is the only one of the 'big four' leagues to have three clubs in the greater NYC area: Devils, Islanders, and Rangers.) |

Relocating a sportsteam from one city to another??? That's completely rediculous! I know OOTP is just a game and you can do whatever you want, but come on, moving a team to another city?
Imagine if that would happen in real life. That would be utterly preposterous! |

Where to relocate Tampa Bay Rays to?
Brooklyn (my hometown) is part (1/5) of New York City. NYC is made up of five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island (my other hometown).
That rule would still apply.
