I am new to the threads so i apologize if there is an answer already out there.
Is there any way to get the rosters as they are today? How about Team Records or Player Stats? It would be neat to basically be able to start a game at any point in the given season. |

You can only start a game at the beginning of a season (that I'm aware of). Not sure if the 2013 rosters that come with the game are from the beginning of the season or if they have been updated more recently.

As for something in game, no that would require someone to have prepared 92-97 mlb roster sets maybe more based on GP or days passed as of now. Would you expect the minor leagues to be accurate too? That could be another 700-1000 or more depending on how many levels/leagues. Daunting task I'd say. Edit AFAIK an updated roster set needs a new game start for pretty obvious reasons.

Thanks for the responses.
I was doubting there would be an in-season option. As for the rosters because everything can be exported into a txt file and then into an Access database I was thinking of ways to automatically update player movement. It actually wouldn't be that daunting of a task through some VBA, however, I have not noticed that baseball-reference has any place to export all rosters. |
