pitcher vorp-WAR

Sorry about the technical question, but I'm getting frustrated with the WAR calcs for pitchers in ootp14. The ones for hitters make plenty of sense, in that if you add together batter VORP with the ZR (zone rating) metric that ootp14 keeps and then divide by 10, you get a WAR that is consistent with sabrmetric thought.

For pitchers, though, it doesn't seem to make sense...I get lots of negative VORP with positive WAR, one pitcher with a VORP of 15 will have a WAR of 1.5, while a pitcher with a VORP of 6 will have a WAR of 3.0...it doesn't seem to be WAR = (VORP+ZR)/10 like it is with hitters.

Anyone know what I'm missing?

He uses the Fangraphs formula (Baseball Statistics and Analysis | FanGraphs Baseball). I think they have a glossary.
