Associate leagues and HOF questions

I have a major league with a 2 sub leagues 10 teams per sub league I was thinking of adding another rival major league with 2 sub leagues and have the be associate leagues which means they can share talent correct?
Also do they share a similar HOF or does each league have its own?
In wondering if I have player hit 250 hrs in one league and 250 in the other that's 500. 500 will be good enough to be a HOFmer however since its two leagues will each league just recognize 250 or will his stats be combined?

So I know each league has 2 sub leagues and they play an all-star and betwen each other and have play offs against each other but do both leagues form an all-star teams and play again each other and play a champion game between each other?

On the HOF question both leagues will have their own HOF. I believe the player's total stats will be judged by the HOF criteria you set for the league he finally retires from.

Best way to do the HoF imo is switch it off and input them yourself.

Someone would need to clarify this for me but to my knowledge he will go into the HOF for whichever league he has the best stats for. you can not add him to the HOF for 2 leagues. Give me another 15 seasons and I can answer this better. I tried added a player who in 10 seasons in MLB had 2600 hits and in my EBL had 3000 in 14 seasons. i added him to my EBL 1st and then was unable to add him to MLB HOF. This was on 11 not 12,13 or 14. Might have changed.

That's te thing if my guy hits 250 HR's for each leage 250 is not good enought to make te hall of fame in itself but he did have 500 total but since its slit no one will induct him

In some leagues that I have HOF enabled i still have to manually import players from time to time. in my Historical league I inducted Shoeless Joe, played until 1925 but his stats dropped to basically nothing after 1920. 2200 hits, which by itself is not a HOF, but his .363 career avg to me is. Min hit I have set at 2800. Many SS & C will not hit 500 and should still be in the HOF. Rabbit Maranville and Luis Aparicio are both RL HOFers and should be in some OOTP leagues.

I think the issue that the OP is curious about has to do with the associated league feature that was added with ootp13. The HOF scrawniness is why I stay away from the league association feature because it has no common HOF. Instead each league has it's own HOF and criteria. From what I gather the player will be inducted into the HOF for the league he last plays in because he carries all of his stats with him to the new league, correct?. Now if ootp only looks at split stats then that is even worse because how will the player make it to any HOF? This is an interesting question that will take some exploration.
