Problems from Angola...

What's up guys, I'm new here and don't have much of a clue of what I am doing haha. So I've come across an issue where my modern season that I've created has approximately 600 players from Angola in the free agent market. The issue with this is they're all half a star rated, but they are being signed for millions and producing like hall of famers. Is there any way to remove these guys from the game without screwing up my whole system? Thanks a lot! I believe they were added because I accidently added a league where I believe the region picked was Angola. This game is awesome by the way, I'm hooked!

Welcome!

Well, to exile the Angolans, I would become the Commissioner in my Manager Menu. Then I would go to my League Menu and select List All Players. In the View drop-down, I would select the Default view. Then I would click Filter, Customize. In the Player Filter, I would select Nationality and set it up for Angola ("Nationality is Angola"). Now my player list would be only Angolans and I would be able to click the Mass Select button in the top left of the column headings bar to select them all. Then I would right-click one of them and select Delete Player.

I would check a couple more things. I would go back to my Manager Menu and click Explore Game World. I would click Angola and then the Nation Editor tab. Here I would make sure that Angola's Baseball Program is still "Non-Existent" as it should be.

Finally, I would go to Game Setup, League Setup, Names & Affiliations and make sure that Angola is not the League Nation or any of the Team Nations. I'm only recommending these steps because I am unsure what you did to your game to create your Angolan population explosion.

Sounds good to me, I will try it when I get home! And I was trying to add a college summer league like the Cape Cod or Northwoods and believe I accidently made it a ML league rather than a COL league. Then I released all the players from the rosters and deleted the league but they stayed. I think I also screwed up and set the region as Angola without realizing.

Especially when they're chucking 2.12 ERA's and .384 batting averages with double digit homers in early May!
