Pay History

So one thing I thought would be really cool is to have a history of the players salaries, either how sports-reference does thiers at the bottom with the year, age, the team they were on, and how much they were paid in a little box. Either that or just add in their salary for the year into the stat page, just as a comparison to how well they did versus how much they were paid, and so on.

Sometimes i make screenshots from the page which contains the 25 Players with the best salaries.

But i agree, i'd like to see a salary history for every player, this would be very nice.

I've also been asking for this for a while

Hopefully it will one day get implemented.

Weaksauce! Seven years and you still haven't cajoled Markus into doing it? For shame!

It's a cool idea. Personally, I probably wouldn't pay much attention to it, but you can never incorporate too much realism I suppose.

I agree. I've asked for tracking of career earnings for a couple of years now. It's bizarre that it isn't already in OOTP considering the breadth of other statistics tracked.

Goto the players profile... Then click history of player then general ... You then will see the history of their salary and more

This doesn't tell you what they actually earned each season, merely what they signed for with each new contract. Things like option years, bonuses, being signed part way through a season... these all affect what the player actually makes.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.
