Fewest Pitches Thrown In OOTP Complete Game?

I just had one of my pitchers toss a two-hit shutout with one walk in a historical game. Dean Chance of the 1962 Los Angeles Angels threw just 97 pitches and faced only 28 batters in the game thanks in part to a double play and a runner caught stealing.

This led me to wonder what is the fewest pitches you've seen thrown in a complete game in OOTP?

I doubt that anyone has seen anything like the real life record, which is just 58 pitches by Red Barrett of the Boston Braves in 1944!

I think I've had some in the 80s. But yeah, I'd be impressed if there's been anything like 58 in an OOTP game.

This past season one of my young star pitchers whom I drafted out of college 3 years ago managed a CG in 89 pitches, giving up 3 hits, 2 walks and no runs and striking out 8. He had 4 CGs this season, and his second-best effort was 109 pitches.

58? I thought 80 was a really good number.

I'm crushed.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Just had a no-hitter that was 100 pitches exactly; I believe that's the lowest I've personally seen.

I wonder if there are any other single game records that haven't been beaten in an OOTP game? There can't be many given how many seasons must have been simulated with OOTP. I know Markus posted that he once had A-Rod have a 5 HR game in a test.

I just had a no-hitter thrown by Dylan Axelrod of the 2013 White Sox on 90 pitches. The most impressive part is the fact that he also struck out seven and still kept the pitch count down.

I just had Kevin Slowey (out of all people) throw a shutout with only 87 pitches against the Phillies. He faced 32 batters, 6 hits, 1 walk, and 2 strikeouts.

perfect game

I have Trevor Bauer throw a perfect game in my last season (2016) for the A's. Unfortunately I can't find the game log, but I have this here screen cap...

If someone can direct me where to look for the game log, I'll pull that and tell you his pitch count for that game...

Now I just had Henderson Alvarez go the full 9 against the White Sox... Gave up 5 hits, 3 runs (all earned), and one walk all in 84 pitches. All the runs were given up between 2 homeruns.
