ballpark capacity

I have never played a fictional game starting in 1901. I noticed that it created all my stadiums with a average attendance of 3300. Is this auto adjusted each year or do I have to edit the stadiums every couple of years? I usually play fictional starting in the year 2020 so I never had to worry about park capacity.

I just went and started a 1901 league and the first ballpark I looked at had a capacity of 16,000.

Maybe because I used custom game that I have such low ballpark capacity. I guess I will just manually adjust my ballparks to 15-16,000.
