But trying to re-sign Getzlaf for Anaheim, and he is demanding 7,177,500 for 7 years. I'm offering 7,180,000 for 7 years. And he's rejecting it saying I'm lowballing him.

Does anybody have this issue? I downloaded the game and then tried to enter my serial key and it says it cannot be activated and please try again in a few minutes, I imagine it is the wrong post to post in.

Thats what happened too me. You may have entered a wrong number or letter. Double check everything and keep trying.

By what date do I need to order it for it to still be a pre-order? I really want to get the game, but I should probably wait until the semester ends.

You should be OK waiting, I don't think there'll be a price change until much closer to the release date, likely late summer.

If we can find anyone willing to translate the entire game, I guess. I did translate EHM 07 to Swedish and it wasn't a lot of fun, haha.

One question though, how many licenses do you get? is it one or two? Also, can anyone confirm if I'll be able to use one licence on a PC, and on on a Mac? (providing it is two). The reason I ask, is because I would like to play it on my PC but then use it on my Mac if I want to sit in front of the TV etc, without having to buy the game twice.

As far as I know you will get two licenses and can use one on PC and one on Mac. There is no Mac version _yet_ though.

My understanding from posts on this sub from the developers is that, at present, since there is no Mac version even developed, much less available, there is no way of guaranteeing that the licenses will work cross platform - and to their credit, the developer has suggested quite openly that Mac users would be much safer waiting a few weeks to purchase the actual Mac beta when it's available without any concern of having to buy twice. I fully agree with that - since they themselves openly state they cannot guarantee the license for the current PC version beta will work for the Mac version when it comes out - it's a little bit of 'fool's gold' for Mac users who are planning to play the authentic Mac version to get the PC version just to have it 'now' -

If the license doesn't cross platforms - just wait for the symphony of complaints to come raining down from Mac users who end up having to buy twice because they got the PC version with the 'hope' it would work for both.

hopefully the license will work ... but it's probably safer to not take the chance and get stuck either using a version in an emulator or having to make two purchases.

I want to purchase this soooooo incredibly bad! I'm a MAC user though. I have no problem with running it on parallels; I just want to make sure when the MAC beta/game is available I can uninstall and reuse my license!

I'm very much with you (in being eager to purchase) - but since i have no plans to run a Windows version, either on a PC or in an emulator - I'll hang on 'til the Mac-native format comes out - i have no doubt it'll be awesome when it's released and well worth the wait!

As a long time Football Manager + Eastside Hockey Manager gamer i love those kinda Sim games.
It was a bummer Eastide Hockey Manager wasn't playable anymore, so i have high hopes for this game.

I still play EHM today religiously, although we are a dying breed.

The Mac version doesn't work anymore. They company who did the serial-check has closed the connection. So I can't activate the game anymore.

But lucky this FHM game looks promising and all the fun can start all over again.
