Free Agents - Really Confused

I like to look at the fee agents right after the declaration, and try to sign young guys with high potential for my minors. A couple players asked for a minor league contract and a signing bonus. I clicked "meet demand" and they responded, no, I want a minor league contract and a signing bonus, which was just what I offered. I increased the signing bonus offer from $330,000 to $500,000 but the player again responded no, he wanted a minor league contract and a $330,000 signing bonus! This has happened three times now. I cannot get them to accept exactly what they say they want. What gives?

Yeah I have seen this as well. I reported it in the bug thread. Hope it gets some attention when the next patch gets put together.

I've seen this bug too. The player asks for a minor league contract, you click meet demand, and he gets annoyed because he wants an impossible contract.

Instead of Meet demand, try hitting Ask for response, then make offer. I have not seen this and sign as many youngs as I can each year and have yet to get this error.

Yeah, which version was it..... I wanna say it was 12. Which ever one introduced that front level of negotiating, not being able to actually submit the offer, and the guy just keeps getting angrier and angrier until he cuts you off.

It was bad, but it was eventually squashed, and now, it seems its long lost cousin has come to avenge.
