I am baffled by the choice of some of the cities.......Louisville? No LA or Bay Area?
Surrey and Mississauga? and no Montreal or Calgary?

Haha
![]() OOTP generated the cities except the USA. All my teams in the USA are east of the Mississippi and we will expand to the west. |

Keep in mind that the nicknames for the 3 leagues outside of the USA can be adjusted and team cities if that makes it easier. I'm particular about the city makeup for the USA but the others I am not as much.
Thanks! |

Baltimore DC Cleveland Cincinnati Indianapolis Atlanta Miami Tampa Orlando Charlotte Nashville Memphis Hartford Pittsburgh These are all bigger TV markets, which is probably the single biggest factor in placing a major league team IMO. It always comes down to $$$. Most baseball folks in northern/eastern KY are Reds fans.

I like to know how other people make up their leagues, see if there is something I could be doing that I hadn't thought of. I am a curious person. The Kentucky part made me think he might be partial to my state too.

It's all good but it's just my fictional league. I have plans laid out for future expansion to the west of the Mississippi.
I like to choose cities that either were the founding cities of the nation or perhaps don't currently have a team. |

I think too much, this causes problems for me when I play games.
I have played leagues where I expanded to add teams in cities that don't have a MLB team, Louisville included. I am confined to realistic locations though or my brain will tell me that no league would put a team there and it ruins it. I am currently running a 24 team MLB and it was hell trying to cut six teams. I had to very carefully analyze attendance figures, tv contracts, and market sizes to figure out who could realistically be contracted before I could relax. Sometimes it is hard to realize that other people are sane, and just do things and have fun.....

You did, and I thank you for that! But I was talking about the guy who posted the thanks for everybody else's jerseys but mine, Isedelyod.
I think the stuff I do isn't "modern" enough for most people. Sue me for liking old-school. Or maybe it just sucks. Something. :P |
