What else affects position ratings?

So in the release notes for OOTP 14 we are told, "Player height is now a factor in determining first base defense rating".

Are there any other such connections between attributes (other than fielding ratings) and potential position ratings?

None that I am aware of, and so far as I can tell the height effect is minimal. Though, I have not spent the time or energy to test it.

It's not just height..it's body mass and it changes with age.. it also includes a little bit of randomness. It can increase or decrease.

One thing I suspected, BTW, was that right-handed throwers might be better off in left field and left-handed throwers better off in right field. But I was unable to verify this by playing around with the player editor.
