Another Question about attendance

Does attendance in fictional leagues mean anything? I have Cleveland in my league that averaged 5762 per game in 1904. Yet their field only holds 4600. Where does the game come up with these numbers? Does the field size play any part at all? I also have finance turned off but the history still records attendance.

In 1904 Cleveland should be playing in League Park and I think the capacity should be 9,000. My fictional historical league is currently in 1908 and I also play with financials off. The game will still allow you to import a year for financials in league set up each year which will set the the average attendance. I don't know how accurate these are but I would sure miss not having an attendance figure in my box scores

Yes even with fin turned off I still want attendance. I want to use it to determine team movements. Cleveland in my league is just an example. I have other teams drawing more then the parks capacity. I hope its not just made up.
